Open Letter to Apple
Dear Apple,
First, congratulations. What we witnessed at the Apple Intelligence keynote was astonishing. You've once again distilled complexity into clarity, woven intelligence into elegance, and shown the world that meaningful innovation doesn't need to shout—it simply needs to work.
As devoted users, builders, and believers in what comes next, we find ourselves asking a question you haven't yet addressed publicly:
How can we come to rely on something so central and intimate if it remains something we can drop, lose, or forget at home?
The iPhone has been a revolutionary tool, without question. But Apple Intelligence transcends any conventional definition of a tool. It is a presence, a partner, an ambient layer of context, memory, and attention. It must evolve beyond its current form. Glass rectangles can no longer constrain us. The future of AI must be embodied.
We know you're considering this. We know a post-iPhone roadmap exists.
Since nothing has been released yet, we'd like to humbly offer a few ideas—practical and Apple-worthy—for the next generation of wearable or implantable Apple Intelligence.
The Neural Pendant
A sleek, minimalist pendant worn near the throat that uses bone conduction for private voice output and subtle vibration for input. It enables ambient conversation, emotion-aware responses, and always-on journaling or translation, designed for both fashion-forward individuals and privacy-conscious contexts.
SmartPalate Interface
A discreet implant in the upper palate enables silent speech recognition through subtle tongue and jaw movements. It's perfect for those seeking privacy and control without voice commands. When paired with lightweight smart lenses or AR glasses, it creates a seamless interface loop.
Cortex Ear Cuff
An elegant wrap that encircles the outer ridge of the ear, capturing EEG signals and attention patterns. The device prioritizes notifications, adjusts system responses based on your focus level, and provides tactile feedback in response to environmental cues.
Dermal Canvas
An e-ink tattoo-like patch for your forearm or wrist that displays live context—summaries, reminders, messages, and even emotion status. It's touch-responsive and reconfigurable: imagine Apple Notes merged with ambient data, right on your skin.
Modular Lapel Companion
A collection of sophisticated lapel pins and brooches with swappable personality modules: Creator, Listener, Strategist, and Negotiator. Each pin uniquely responds to cues and tasks through private gesture and whisper commands, where fashion, function, and augmentation converge.
We believe that with Apple's innovation, these are realizable, intuitive, and aligned with Apple’s design philosophy. Each enables what the iPhone no longer can: invisible, frictionless, body-aligned intelligence. We believe Apple Intelligence is not just a brand or an upgrade—it is a pivot. And pivots require new form factors.
Thank you for leading.
