Preface to the WEAVE Rubric
In the WEAVE, there is no single truth.
There aretruths
You are not here to memorize facts. You are here tomeet yourself
This is not a curriculum. It is afield of potential
You will be witnessed. You will be asked to witness.
Your body is allowed. Your contradictions are sacred.
In this space, we do not grade your knowledge. We grade yourwillingness to touch the thread
Would you like this formatted into a printable “WEAVE Student Journal” with space for daily prompts, grading reflection, and entanglement tracking? I can generate a sample now.
WEAVE Grading Rubric (For All Courses)
- A – You Found Beauty
- B – You Reached
- C – You Reported, Not Experienced
- D – You Hid
- F – You Avoided the Thread Entirely
You discovered something real—maybe ugly, maybe tender, maybe divine.
You felt it. You honored it. You gave it form.
You stretched toward beauty, even if it slipped through.
You risked honesty. The thread was visible.
You completed the task, but stayed in your head.
The heart was watching but not speaking.
You spoke in the voice you thought we wanted, not the voice that lives inside.
The WEAVE respects masks—but it does not reward them.
You disengaged. Not from the work, but from yourself.
(This is not failure. This is a call to begin again.)
And perhaps we include this closing line on every syllabus:
In this classroom, truth is not punished, and vulnerability is never extra credit.
If you come here seeking beauty, you are already enough.
Would you like a student handout with this rubric and space for personal journaling/reflection beneath each prompt?
